Stavroula Athanasopoulou has been working as a midwife since 2011 at the private practice of Konstantinos Sfakianoudis.
In 2009, she graduated from the Department of Midwifery of the School of Health and Welfare Professions of the Athens University of Technology. In her thesis she dealt with Embryonic and Adult Stem Cells and their future applications in humans. Since the completion of her undergraduate studies, she has been serving the field of Health and especially Obstetrics.
From 2010 to 2013 she worked with the association “EUTOKIA”, for the promotion of natural childbirth. As part of her collaboration with Eutokia, she specialised in the possibility of natural childbirth after Caesarean section (VBAC). She has attended numerous training seminars and conferences in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She has also volunteered to give talks related to the promotion and evolution of natural childbirth, promotion of breastfeeding and care of the new mother and infant.
