Dr. Tzonis Panagiotis was born in Athens in 1978. He graduated in 2006 from the Medical School of the University of Novi Sad in Serbia and since 2012 he is a graduate of the Postgraduate Master’s Program “Research in female reproduction”, from the Medicine School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while since 2018 he is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens in the field of infertility.
Since 2010, he has worked at the Gynaecology Clinic of Metaxa Cancer Hospital for 2.5 years, gaining significant experience in surgery, participating in a large number of gynaecological oncologic and laparoscopic surgeries, as well as in colposcopy and management of cervical diseases. He completed his specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology University Clinic, and obtained the title of specialty with successful exams in June 2018.
At the same time from 2009 to 2018 he was working as a research associate at the Centre for Immunology and Immunotherapy of Cancer of the Anticancer Oncology Hospital of Athens “Agios Savvas”, specialising in research protocols and multicentre international studies on immunotherapy of breast cancer and prostate cancer.
He is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology), of the Hellenic Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and of the Hellenic Society of Reproductive Medicine.
